QuanterX is a macOS menu-bar productivity application developed by NDMakerX. It is designed to work locally, without accounts, cloud synchronization, advertisements, or developer-operated analytics in the application.

1. Information handled on your Mac

QuanterX processes clipboard contents (including copied text and images), pinned history entries, notes, QR content, selected file references for the Shelf, settings, and local system and network measurements to provide its features. Clipboard content can include sensitive or personal information.

Clipboard history, notes, images, Shelf security-scoped bookmarks, and preferences are stored on your Mac in local application storage. QuanterX does not upload these records to NDMakerX or third-party analytics providers. No login is required.

2. Clipboard monitoring and permissions

When clipboard recording is on, QuanterX monitors clipboard changes and may save copied content to its local history. You can pause recording, exclude selected applications, enable skipping of entries marked confidential by their source applications, and clear recorded history. Exclusions and confidentiality markers cannot guarantee that every sensitive copy will be recognized.

macOS may control clipboard access. Direct Paste is optional and disabled by default. When enabled, it requires Accessibility permission to return to a previous application and perform a paste. Other QuanterX features remain usable without Direct Paste.

3. Shelf, monitoring, and other utilities

The Shelf stores references and access bookmarks for files you add; it does not upload their contents. System and network displays show local measurements. QR generation and the color picker operate locally.

4. Storage, retention, and deletion

QuanterX provides history limits, age-based cleanup, manual history deletion, and factory reset. Pinned history can be retained when ordinary history is cleared. You can remove notes and Shelf entries individually. Factory reset removes the app's stored content and resets its preferences.

Locally saved clipboard history, notes, and exported backups are not given additional app-level password encryption. Your Mac's disk-security settings may provide device-level protection. Avoid recording or exporting secrets you do not want stored on disk.

5. Backup export and import

Backups are created when you initiate an export and choose a destination. Exported files may contain readable clipboard history, notes, images, and preferences. They are not password-encrypted by QuanterX. Store them securely and delete copies you no longer need. Import restores their contents to local application storage.

6. Feedback and support

The QuanterX app does not send clipboard history, notes, images, or system measurements to the developer. Selecting Send Feedback opens your own email application; if you choose to send a message, your email provider and NDMakerX receive the information you include. Support messages are used to respond to your inquiry.

7. This website

This website is delivered through Cloudflare hosting. Standard connection information, such as IP addresses and request metadata, may be processed by Cloudflare for website delivery and security. This website does not use advertising pixels, marketing cookies, or third-party analytics scripts. Website access is separate from the local data handled by the QuanterX macOS app.

For information about Cloudflare's data handling, see Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

8. Your choices and contact

Use QuanterX's Privacy settings to pause monitoring, configure retention, delete local content, or export data. You can change clipboard and Accessibility permissions through macOS System Settings. For privacy and support questions, email [email protected].

We may update this policy if QuanterX or its data-handling practices change. The current version will be published here.

This policy describes QuanterX version 1.0 as prepared for release and the accompanying website. It should be reviewed again before future feature or service changes.
